Lakeside Restorations Amber Steingard

A creative heart.
A new chapter.

I’m Amber Steingard, the artist behind
Lakeside Restorations.

After seven wonderful years of bringing new life to old pieces, I’m pausing the business and making room for what’s next.

A little about this next chapter
An oak and rattan coffee table, styled with books, wooden beads and a plant in a soft, sunlit living room.

Old soul. Fresh perspective.

Amber smiling beside one of her restored vintage dressers.

A little paint, a lot of heart.

Making room
for something new.

For seven years, Lakeside Restorations has been my way of seeing possibility in the overlooked. A beautiful grain beneath an old finish. A timeless piece waiting for a fresh start. The small details that make a home feel like you.

Now, it’s my turn for a fresh start. I’m taking a pause from the business to begin a new chapter in my career—one that brings my creativity as an artist together with a profession I’m genuinely passionate about.

There’s more to share in time. For now, I’m grateful for every piece you trusted me with, every kind word, and every home that made room for my work.

With love, Amber

A little of what I love.

Natural textures. Thoughtful details. Pieces with a past.
Moments from the Lakeside Restorations chapter.

A restored white oak dining table with black and wood chairs, leafy plants and a woven pendant in a bright dining room.
A place to gather
A muted green and natural wood sideboard, styled with sculptural vases and dried branches above a patterned rug.
Warmth in the everyday
An earthy brown vintage hutch filled with pottery, books, a small wooden house and trailing greenery.
Beauty in the details

The next chapter
is still unfolding.

I’d love for you to be part of it.
Follow along for little glimpses of what comes next.

Let’s stay connected

Lakeside Restorations is on pause.
I’m not taking on refinishing projects or shop orders at this time.
